Dr Musuka completed his specialist neurology training at Sir Charles Gairdner, Royal Perth and Fremantle Hospitals. Following this, he completed a stroke fellowship with the Calgary Stroke Program based at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Canada, an institute renowned for stroke research and development of pioneering acute stroke treatments.
Dr Musuka returned to Perth in 2014 and has worked as a consultant neurologist at Fremantle, Royal Perth and Rockingham Hospitals. Currently, he has public appointments at Fiona Stanley and Fremantle Hospitals. He also provides a comprehensive in-patient consultative service at St John of God Hospital Murdoch as well as seeing private patients in his rooms at the Wexford Medical Centre, Murdoch.
Dr Musuka has continued to maintain and advance his interest in stroke by participating in a number of clinical trials and research at Fiona Stanley Hospital, being a principal investigator/sub-investigator of a number of ongoing research trials. He is involved in teaching medical students and doctors-in-training. He is a local examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) physician training examinations. He is also an accredited neurology advanced trainee supervisor.
Outside of work, Tapuwa is a keen road cyclist, enjoys reading classic novels and spending time with his wife and two young children.

Dr Musuka Specialises in the diagnosis and management of conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. This includes epilepsy, stroke, peripheral neurological injuries, examples includes carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar nerve disorders, brachial plexus injuries and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. He also consults on motor vehicle accident whiplash injuries.
