He is an inaugural clinical network member of the Cancer Council Victoria and recipient of the Australia and New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group (ANZBCTG) Gold Medal acknowledging his significant role in the development and conduct of breast cancer clinical trials research.

 A/Prof Raymond Snyder has been involved in voluminous research efforts, clinical trials and analysis and consequently have been published in numerous papers and medical specialised gazettes. He maintains a focused interest in areas of breast cancer, tumour biology and Psycho-oncology, and is well experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of most solid tumours, especially those originating in the breast, lung and bowel.
