About
Dr Adam Rapaport is a General Surgeon and Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons with over 20 years of experience. Still in clinical practice, his areas of special interest include hernia and abdominal wall surgery, skin cancer (melanoma), Laparoscopic Surgery, Vascular Surgery and Trauma Surgery.
Dr Rapaport spent three years working in the USA, completing a Fellow in Cardiovascular Surgery, and fulfilling the role of Professor of Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
He has served as Consultant Surgeon for the Australian Defence Force and has undertaken surgical procedures on personnel, specifically those with hernias requiring intervention.
