About Dr Meena Mittal

Dr Meena Mittal is a highly qualified and experienced specialist in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia. Dr Mittal earned her medical degree with Honours from the University of Melbourne in 2003 and completed Advanced Training in Anaesthetics at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. Recognising the importance of managing acute and chronic pain and its impact on patients, she pursued additional training in Pain Medicine. Over her career, she has adopted roles such as Supervisor of training for Fellows in Pain Medicine, Examiner for the Faculty of Pain Medicine and Co- convenor of the Annual Scientific Meeting for NSANZ (Neuromodulation Society of Australia and New Zealand) in 2022 and 2023. She is a current Member of the Board for the Neuromodulation Society of Australia and New Zealand.

She has a deep understanding of how chronic pain can impact a person’s life and is able to navigate complex medical histories to provide a clear and concise understanding of the various issues relevant to the patient’s situation.
