After completing his Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) in 2009, Mitch worked in occupational rehabilitation while continuing his psychology training. During this time, he worked as a rehabilitation counsellor and vocational psychologist providing vocational assessment, vocational counselling and return to work services to injured and ill individuals experiencing both psychological and physical problems across multiple insurance schemes in Australia (CTP, Workers Compensation, Income Protection and TPD policies) and also spent three years in the United Kingdom completing vocational assessments.

Mitch has also worked as an internal consultant within insurance companies, providing strategic, rehabilitation and claims advice in the life insurance industry while concurrently working in private practice.

In 2020, Mitch joined the team at 2OP Health (www.https://2ophealth.com.au/), who specialise in providing psychological and psychiatric treatment services for occupational health matters and medico-legal reporting. Mitch provides psychological assessments, vocational assessments, and employability assessments.

Mitch’s experience in occupational rehabilitation, psychological treatment, assessment and medico-legal reporting enables a holistic assessment and opinion on vocational capacity, employability barriers, psychological capacity, and treatment needs for both plaintiff and defendant matters.
