About
Dr Peter Moloney is one of the most trusted and experienced neurosurgeons/spinal surgeons in Australia today. For the past 25 years he has specialised in spinal surgery and has played a pioneering role in the development of spinal arthroplasty.
Dr Moloney’s training started at Monash University Medical School, which was followed by Intern and initial Registrar years at the Royal Hobart Hospital. He started Neurosurgery in Hobart, continuing on to the United Kingdom where he was a Senior Registrar in Southampton. He worked for a time in Melbourne, eventually dividing his time between practices on the North Shore of Sydney and Wollongong.
Dr Moloney has performed countless complex surgeries, including brain tumours, spinal injuries, and cerebrovascular conditions. His extensive clinical experience makes him a valuable asset in providing evidence-based medical opinions for medicolegal cases.
